Compliance with CE Marking

All customer designed products manufactured by Earnshaw Engineering for use in construction are CE marked under the Construction Products Regulation, with our processes certified up to EXC2. Alongside our certification for ISO 9001, we can deliver the required standards.

Continuing to evolve and keep up with current legislation, Earnshaw Engineering was accredited to incorporate CE marking on its manufactured products in accordance with part one of BS EN 1090, the new harmonised European standard for the ‘Execution of steel structures and aluminium structures’ in July 2015.

Part 1 covers the manufacturing and, where appropriate, structural design characteristics of structural steel components for use in the construction industry and provides four classes of accreditation.

In keeping with its known quality standards within the industry, following assessments of its manufacturing systems by CEM International, products manufactured by Earnshaw Engineering are accredited to Class 2, the general standard required for buildings within BS EN 1090–1.

This accreditation provides the industry with absolute assurance on the use of products manufactured by Earnshaw Engineering in the construction industry.

• Lockable drug cabinets manufactured for hospitals and nursing homes
