Welding

Welding processes at Earnshaw Engineering are conducted in accordance with the ISO 3834 quality requirements. Our skilled and qualified welding staff including inspectors, ensure quality levels are maintained and improved where possible. Using validated equipment, high quality consumables and qualified weld procedures we continue to deliver our customers requirements consistently and effectively.

We hold Factory Production Control (FPC) and Welding certificates enabling us to CE mark structural steel to execution class 2 using steels up to S355 grade. For more detail on CE Marking please see our dedicated pages.

• Our welders are approved to BS EN ISO 9606-1 for carbon steels
• Our weld procedures are qualified to BS EN ISO 15641-1
• The company is accredited with EN1090-1:2009+A1:2011 for the CE marking of carbon steels
• Certification up to and including execution class 2 (EXC2)
• Our welding department can accommodate up to 7.5 metre sections
• MAG/MIG and TIG welding of steel, aluminium and stainless steels
• Spot and stud welding
